A Bit of History…
‘His DJ career started, perhaps like many, in a student union. “It had an ancient console with 2 record decks and a cassette player – a deck broke down so I just found songs on tapes and mixed those with the records, and ended up doing the rest of the night – the DJ was like ‘how did you manage that?’.”’
This is an interview I did in 2007-ish, which for one reason or another, didn’t surface until August, when I got a message out of the blue from the author asking for my permission to publish it. I was happy for him to do so, as it is a lovely reminder of an earlier chapter of the book.
