Double Denim
I wrote about this concept over on my personal site a while ago. It is always style over fashion. Double denim has hangovers from the Seventies, then the Eighties and so on and so forth. When it is done right, denim is one of the best ever fabrics to experiment with. It ages beautifully (future post coming on this soon). Layering new indigo denim over properly aged vintage denim creates a credible contrast. Look at that texture.It’s not fashion, it’s style. Accessorise as you see fit. Don’t be afraid of experimenting. Denim seems to be frowned upon by certain sections of society. Choose correctly, dress it up properly and it is sartorial. There is no argument.
